The Caprivi area is situated in north-eastern Namibia. From the east, which has been described as Namibia's answer to the Okavango Delta, to the west, you will find a fascinating region full of wildlife-rich game parks, lots of bird-watching and sightseeing opportunities.
The wildlife in game parks like Mudumu National Park, Mamili National Park and Mahango Game Reserve is not to be missed and the birdlife is extremely rich and varied (with over 400 bird species). The area also incudes Katima Mulilo, a town that reminds one more of Zambia than Namibia, Ngoma, Caprivi Game Reserve, Liambezi Lake and Popa Falls, another bird-watching hot spot.
