Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Departing Swakopmund, the first leg of this overland trip explores the best of northern Namibia, including exciting game viewing in the Etosha National Park.

From here you travel on to the spectacular Okavango Delta, followed by visits to the Caprivi National Park and Chobe National Park.

Finally, round off your overland experience with whitewater rafting and bungee jumping in the 'adrenaline capital of Africa' - Victoria Falls.

Day 1: Go in Search of Adventure in Swakopmund

Your first day is spent in search of adventure, enjoying the many optional adventure activities available in Swakopmund.

These include boat trips, angling, skin diving, surfing, quad biking and camel rides.

Day 2: Get to Know the Himba People

From Swakopmund you drive north towards Outjo, where you'll have the chance to meet the the Himba people.

The Himba are semi-nomadic pastoralists who are easily recognisable by their traditional hairstyles, clothing and jewelry.

Days 3-4: Explore the Etosha National Park

An early rise sees you on your way to Etosha National Park.

Etosha is home to over 340 bird, 110 reptile and 100 mammal species, including close to 3,000 elephant and one of the biggest populations of black rhino in Africa.

Enjoy exciting game drives during the day, and relax at floodlit waterholes in the evening.

Day 5: Pay a Visit to Windhoek

After an early morning game drive you set off for Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, stopping at a local craft market along the way.

An evening meal at Joe's Beer House (own expense) gives you the chance to sample many different types of game meat. Vegetarians are also well catered for and the interesting décor and vibrant atmosphere make it well worth a visit.

Day 6: Visit a Local Bushmen Community

Leave Windhoek behind and begin the trip to Botswana.

Your final day in Namibia provides the chance to visit a local bushmen community, with a special guided walk included.

Days 7-9: Soar Above the Okavango Delta

Your journey takes you across the border into Botswana and on to Maun.

Enjoy a wonderful scenic flight over the Okavango Delta on the way to camp. This is the largest inland delta in the world, and its crystal clear waters and countless islands are home to an amazing variety of animals and birdlife.

[p]Go on guided nature walks, mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) rides and visit a nearby village for a taste of the local culture.

Day 10: Camp on the Banks of the Zambezi

Leave the waterways of the Okavango Delta behind and cross back into Namibia's Caprivi Strip.

Travel through the Caprivi National Park en route to the Zambezi River. Spend the night here relaxing on the banks of the mighty river.

Day 11: Experience Chobe National Park
Return to Botswana and enter the Kasane region. Located on the banks of the Chobe River, Kasane is a great base from which to explore the Chobe National Park.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon river cruise on the Chobe River, watching as thirsty animals gather at the water's edge to drink.

Day 12: Enjoy Excitement at Victoria Falls

Head off to visit the Victoria Falls - one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and a truly spectacular sight.

Vic Falls offers many exciting activities, including bungee jumping, white-water rafting, elephant back safaris and tiger fishing.

The optional sunset cruise down the Zambezi River is the perfect way to end your day.

Day 13: End Your Tour at the Falls

Enjoy breakfast as you reflect on an incredible 13-day getaway. Then head on home or continue your adventure elsewhere.
