Kruger National Park leopard

Starting in the capital of Namibia, Windhoek, this tour travels via the arid homeland of the bushman to the beautiful Okavango Delta.

Explore the delta's islands and waterways by mokoro and by foot, before moving on to Chobe National Park. Your next stop, the spectacular Victoria Falls, is said to be the adventure capital of Africa.

From the Falls you'll cross into Kruger National Park and experience world-class game viewing in the renowned Kruger National Park - an amazing experience.

Day 1: Meet the Local Bushmen in Namibia

You depart from Windhoek, heading towards the Botswana border, where you'll enter the country via Buitepos.

After arriving at your lodge, you'll meet with a local Bushman community and be entertained with some tribal dancing.

Days 2-4: Explore the Delta Waterways

Depart Ghanzi and continue onto Maun, known as the gateway to the Okavango Delta. You'll spend a night in this remote town and prepare for your excursion the following day.

Hit the skies with an exciting small plane flight over the Delta to Gunn's Camp, where you'll spend the next 2 nights. Animals are often spotted from the lodge, but you'll also enjoy a guided nature walk, and if the water level allows, a mokoro (dug-out canoe) ride through the waterways.

Day 5: Drive to Gweta near the Makgadikagdi

Today you'll enjoy a second scenic air-tranfer and arrive back to Maun. In the afternoon you'll drive to Gweta, near the vast Makgadikadi pans.

You'll spend the night at Planet Baobab, an unusual and quirky desert camp.

Day 6: Camp on the Banks of the Chobe River

Today you'll drive north to Kasana and stay on the banks of the Chobe River, where you'll enjoy a close up view of the game coming down to drink.

An afternoon river cruise is what awaits you, followed by a well-earned rest and a delicous meal under the stars.

Days 7-8: Experienc the Might of Victoria Falls

After crossing over into Zimbabwe, you'll head off to visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and experience the thundering sound of the mighty Zambezi.

The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks.

The next day, there are numerous activities available for you to choose, from bungee jumping to elephant back safaris, however, whitewater rafting proves to be a popular choice - an experience of a lifetime!

Days 9-10: Travel the Long Road to Johannesburg

A 06h00 start sees you depart on the long drive towards Johannesburg. You'll pass through Botswana and overnight near the border at Martins Drift.

Another early morning ensures that you cover the next 750km to Johannesburg, reaching the city in the late afternoon.

Day 11: Enjoy Breathtaking Panoramic Views

Leaving Johannesburg behind, you head through the province of Mpumulanga and some breathtaking vistas of the lowveld. Places of scenic interest include God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes.

You overnight in a wildlife concession area adjacent to Kruger Park. Tonight's game drive gives you the opportunity to view the mysterious nocturnal creatures that inhabit the African bushveld.

Days 12-13: Explore Kruger National Park

You get up early and head out on a morning game walk before entering Kruger National Park.

The next couple of days are spent exploring the southern part of this vast reserve and you stand a good chance of sighting elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo - Africa's "Big 5", as well as diverse birdlife and some more elusive animals.

On the second night you stay in another of the park's delightful chalets, and have the option of going on a optional night drive.

Day 14: Visit a Traditional Cultural Village

Complete your Kruger Park experience with an early morning game drive before heading back towards Johannesburg through the subtropical Lowveld.

En route you'll visit a cultural village where you have the chance to experience some local culture and purchase some local handicrafts and curios.

The evening is spent back in Johannesburg where this tour comes to an end.
