Departing Namibia's capital, Windhoek, you cross into Botswana for unforgettable camping in the remarkable Okavango Delta.

Your next stop is Chobe National Park. Keep an eye out for the park's giant herds of elephant as you take a peaceful evening cruise down the Chobe River. Spend the night in this pristine wilderness and enjoy an exhilarating game drive the next morning, before heading to the adrenaline capital of Africa - Victoria Falls.

Test your nerve with the Falls' world-class bungee jumping and white-water rafting, or take to the sky in a helicopter or microlight and admire the breathtaking landscape stretched out below.

Days 2-4: Enter the Okavango Delta

An early start takes you to Maun - the gateway to the magnificent Okavango Delta.

Spend the night in Maun. After a briefing from your guides the next morning, you prepare to enter the Delta's incredible network of snaking waterways and scattered islands. The Delta is the largest freshwater wetland in Africa and a remarkable oasis set amidst Botswana's arid and unforgiving wilderness. Here you will find one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife on the continent, with inhabitants ranging from hippopotamus, elephant and buffalo to various species of antelope and many different birds.

If the water levels allow, you can look forward to a mokoro (traditional canoe) trip as well as a fascinating nature walk with the local people.

Day 6: Marvel at Chobe's Elephants

Arrive at Kasane and set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River.

The Chobe National Park is internationally famous for its predators, but the park's elephant population is even more remarkable. Huge herds of these noble beasts roam the floodplains, woodlands and grasslands here. An afternoon river cruise presents the perfect opportunity to get up close to these gentle giants as they make their way down to the banks of the Chobe River to quench their thirst.

An early game drive the following morning offers an excellent chance of catching sight of lion and spotted hyena, among other predators, as they return from a night's hunting.

Days 7-8: Get Your Heart Racing at Victoria Falls

At 1.7 kilometres wide and 100 metres high, the Victoria Falls are one of 7 natural wonders of the world and a truly breathtaking sight.

Known as the adrenaline capital of Africa, a visit to the Falls offers up world-class bungee jumping and white-water rafting, pulse-racing, hippo-dodging canoe trips and unforgettable gorge-swinging, but it's not all about heart-stopping excitement.

There are plenty of activities to keep the more cautious among you enthralled, with a jaw-dropping microlight, helicopter or light aircraft flight over the Falls and a relaxing cruise down the Zambezi River standing out as particularly memorable experiences.
