Your adventure begins in Cape Town and heads out along Route 62 - the longest wine route in the world. Spend some time in the ostrich farming town of Oudtshoorn and visit the nearby Cango Caves before making your way to Knysna.

Spend 2 days lending a hand at the Judah Square Rastafarian Community, after which you'll visit the Visas are the responsibility of the traveller and that the Whichway Adventure Company will not be held responsible for clients being denied entry should they not be in the possession of the relevant visas.
  

Day 1: Begin the Adventure in Cape Town

Meet your guide and fellow travellers in the Mother City - Cape Town - where you can enjoy a pre-departure briefing over coffee.

Depart the city and head through the Winelands where you'll stop to sample some of the world-class wines produced here.

Continue your journey along the longest wine route in the world - Route 62 - to the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn, known for its Ostrich farms.

Day 2: Visit the Cango Caves

Enjoy an early breakfast before you make your way to the spectacular Cango Caves where you'll enjoy a tour of this natural wonder.

In the afternoon, you'll head for the Garden Route town of Knysna where you'll set up camp for the night.

Days 3-4: Get Involved at Judah Square

Over the next 3 days, you will be involved in assisting the Judah Square Rastafarian Community. While here, you can assist in the orphanage and creche, give youth training, help with maintenance of the health garden, community centre or the upkeep of the Khayaletu River Trail.

On the afternoon of Day 4, you'll head for the Tsitsikamma Forest.

Day 5: Hike Through the Tsitsikamma

Explore this scenic national park that protects a considerable portion of the natural environment.

Optional activities here include the highest bungee jump in the world at 216m, scenic hikes through the forest, mountain biking and horse riding.

Day 6: Spend Time at Hogsback

Set out early for the 7hr scenic journey to Hogsback on the slopes of the Amatola Mountains.

After setting up camp, head off on a hike through the mountains and indigenous forests.

Days 7-9: Help Out at the Lusikisiki Community

Your next 2 days are spent at the Lusikisiki Community Project where you can get involved with building and providing necessary infrastructure in this under-developed region of the Eastern Cape, as well as teaching basic English, and planting trees.

Another community project that you can get involved in is the production of leather sandals. You'll have the opportunity to learn this craft, and get to know the locals at the same time, with the added bonus of keeping a pair for yourself.

A range of optional activities is also available, including hiking, abseiling and zip-lining.

Days 10-11: Explore the Drakensberg

The next leg of your journey takes you to the Drakensberg - South Africa's highest mountain range. The drive is rather long, approximately 8hrs, but the scenery along the way is magnificent.

While here, you'll have plenty of leisure time to explore the surrounding area, visit the nearby mountain kingdom of Lesotho, or take part in a wide variety of optional activities, including rock climbing, horse riding, mountain biking and hiking.

Day 12: Help the Amphitheatre Donga Project

You'll spend today at the Amphitheatre Donga Reclamation Project where you will help to make a positive environmental impact by erecting fences to keep livestock out of sensitive areas, filling gullies and re-introducing vegetation.

After a busy day, relax at your camp and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the mountains.

Day 13: Travel Towards the Indian Ocean

Make your way to Durban on the Indian Ocean coastline. You'll arrive in the late afternoon with enough time to explore the colourful markets before checking into your hostel.

Your last night is spent enjoying dinner at one of the many restaurants, before checking out the local night life.

Day 14: End Your Journey in Durban

One last breakfast brings your adventure to an end.
