Spend a week meandering up the beautiful Garden Route, from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Begin by sampling some fine wines in Stellenbosch, watching whales in Hermanus, and visiting the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn.

Travel up the coast to picturesque Knysna, and spend some time in the Tsitsikamma Forest where you can bungee jump off Bloukrans bridge - the highest bungee jump in the world.

Enjoy game drives in Addo Elephant National Park before ending your tour in Port Elizabeth - the 'Friendly City' on South Africa's Sunshine Coast.

Day 1: Enjoy Fine Wines in Stellenbosch

After a brief orientation, you leave Cape Town and travel to the beautiful wine region of Stellenbosch. You can enjoy a relaxed lunch and then visit a selection of vineyards to sample some excellent South African wines.

In whale season (between June and November) your group will spend the night near Hermanus, a quaint seaside town which offers the best land-based whale watching in the world.

Day 2: Explore Oudtshoorn's Cango Caves

Leave the coast behind and drive inland to Oudtshoorn to see the incredible stalagmite formations in the Cango Caves. The caves lie in the Swartberg Mountain Range and the present route extends for 1.2km into the mountain, with a further 4.1km kept closed to the public for conservation reasons.

After taking a tour of this amazing natural wonder, you'll visit a local ostrich farm where there is the opportunity to ride the largest bird in the world.

Day 3: Travel to Scenic Knysna

Return to the coast via some lovely country roads and arrive in the picturesque seaside town of Knysna, known for its sandstone cliffs, the Knysna Heads, and beautiful lagoon.

There are numerous adventure activities for you to choose from or you may prefer to explore the shops in search of interesting local craft.

Days 4-5: Bungee Jump in Tsitsikamma

Begin the day with a short drive to Stormsriver, your base for the next 2 nights. From here you can explore the coastal Tsitsikamma National Park, incorporating 80km of rocky coastline with spectacular landscapes and ocean views; a remote mountainous region with secluded valleys covered in mountain fynbos and temperate high forests with deep river gorges leading down to the sea.

The hiking here is some of the best anywhere and includes the option of walking the first few kilometers of the Otter Trail. If you're feeling adventurous, then enjoy the adrenalin rush of bungee jumping off the highest commercial bungee jump bridge in the world.

Day 6: Search for Elephants in Addo

Travel to Addo Elephant National Park, home to over 450 elephants as well as Cape buffalo, black rhino and the rest of the Big 5.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, which is an ideal photographic opportunity.

Day 7: Drive to the 'Friendly City'

After a last game drive in Addo you'll leave the park and drive east along the beautiful Sunshine Coast towards Port Elizabeth, where your tour comes to an end.
