Begin your adventure in Swakopmund and try some exciting adventure activities, after which you'll have the opportunity to meet some of Namibia's distinctive Himba people.

Your tour ends in Windhoek, where you can easily connect with another overland adventure.

You meet your guides at the lodge and are introduced to your travelling companions.

Today is left free for you to pursue your own interests including the many adventure activities available such as quad biking and scenic flights.

Day 2: Spend Time With the Himba Tribes

Heading inland you drive towards Outjo where you will meet with some of the local people of the area.

The Himba people are semi-nomadic pastoralists who are easily recognisable by their unique style of dress. Their hair, clothes and jewellery all form an important part of their tradition and culture.

Spend either the afternoon visiting the Himba, or the next morning before you depart for Etosha. Please have respect for the people that you are going to visit. Keep in mind that they have a different culture, and that behavior you deem as normal might be offensive to them, and vice versa.

Days 3-4: Visit the Etosha National Park

An early rise sees you on your way to Etosha National Park - home to over 340 bird, 110 reptile and 100 mammal species including close to 3 000 elephant and one of the biggest populations of black rhino in Africa.

Spend your days visiting the waterholes which offer excellent opportunities for game photography. After your evening meal you can relax at the floodlit waterholes - a fantastic feature of this park.

Occasionally it is not possible to stay inside the park at night, in which case you overnight at a local guest farm.
