Day 1: South Africa – Panorama Route
Departing from Johannesburg you head through Mpumalanga and some breathtaking vistas of the Lowveld. The Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes are some of today’s highlights, with each one being a geological spectacular not to be missed.You spend the evening just outside of Kruger National Park.

Days 2 - 3: Kruger National Park
You get up early and visit a Wildlife rehabilitation centre for an educational experience before you enter Kruger NP. The next 2 days are spent exploring the southern part of this vast reserve, where you stand a good chance of sighting elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo - Africa's famed ‘Big 5’. An optional night drive with one of the South African National Park (SANP) rangers is an excellent way to see some of the parks more elusive nocturnal animals.

Days 4 - 5: Swaziland - Mlilwane
Today you leave the Kruger Park and cross the border to Swaziland. You spend the next 2 nights in the Mlilwane Nature Reserve where you are able to explore the area on foot. You will also experience the Swazi culture firsthand, visiting a traditional village.

The next day can be spent relaxing, hiking around the area or going on any of the optional activities on offer, such as mountain biking, hiking, horse riding and game viewing.

Day 6: South Africa - St Lucia NP
Leaving Swaziland, you travel through subtropical terrain towards the Indian Ocean. You spend the afternoon exploring the St Lucia World Heritage Park and enjoying the unique sights. Lagoon cruises are also offered as optional activities here.

Day 7: Durban
You spend the night at your leisure in this vibrant city – the perfect opportunity to try one of Durban’s famous Indian restaurants. Other optional activities include a lagoon cruise on St Lucia.

Days 8 - 9: Drakensberg
You leave Durban and the Kwa-Zulu Natal coast and travel to the Royal Natal National Park and Drakensberg escarpment. You will arrive at your destination in the afternoon.

The next day can be spent relaxing by the pool, taking in the beautiful scenery, or doing some of the optional activities such as horse riding and hiking.

Days 10 - 11: Lesotho
After a full day's drive you arrive in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. When border formalities are completed you climb into the mountains to your rustic overnight spot. This is a very long travel day, and you will arrive at your destination quite late in the day.

The next day you get up early and those going on the optional Pony Trek will ride into the remote hills of Lesotho accompanied by local guides. If you choose to remain behind you can simply relax, go hiking or visit the local village, school or craft market.

Day 14: Addo Elephant National Park
You spend your time in Addo Elephant National Park surrounded by Elephants. These magnificent creatures are always a highlight and Addo provides you with many excellent photographic opportunities.

Days 15 - 16: Tsitsikamma National Park
After an early morning game drive you leave Addo and drive along the sunshine coast until you reach Tsitsikamma National Park. This beautiful coastal park provides you with some amazing hikes, including the first section of the well-known Otter Trail.

The next day is left open for activities. A perfect day to throw yourself off one of the highest bridges in the world in an adrenaline filled bungee jump or take perhaps opt for the more tranquil Tree Top tour.

Day 17: Knysna
It is a short distance to Knysna. There are many activities on offer here as well as the chance to explore this interesting town. Go fishing on the lagoon, shopping in the town or abseil off Knysna Heads – the choice is yours.

Day 18: Oudtshoorn
Upon arriving, you take a tour of the Cango Caves, venturing up to 1,2km into the cave route. Later in the day you have the option of visiting an Ostrich Farm and trying your hand at ostrich riding.

Day 19: Stellenbosch Wine Route
After breakfast you set off for Stellenbosch. As this is the last night on tour you will go out to a local restaurant for Dinner. During whale season (between June and November) you spend this day in Hermanus, and may be lucky enough to see whales from shore.

Day 20: Cape Town
After a leisurely breakfast, you set off for some wine tasting before reaching Cape Town, where your journey ends.
