| Days 5-7: Explore the Bazaruto Archipelago |
 |
Today you depart Praia do Tofo and drive north to Vilanculos. There is an opportunity to cross by dhow or speedboat to the islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago where you can relax 'island style', snorkel or just soak up the sun. If you decide not to go to the islands, then Vilanculos offers many interesting sights.
If you want to do the optional Bazaruto Excursion then on the morning of the 2nd day you take a dhow to Benguerra Island. The dhow trip takes about 2 hours, and if you are lucky you might see dolphins during the crossing.
You arrive back fairly late, so you spend the night in Vilanculos before returning to the Inhambane area the next day. |
