| Days 11-14: Experience Lake Malawi |
 |
You make the border crossing out of Tanzania. Today's destination is the northern part of Lake Malawi, close to the Livingstonia Mountains, where you will relax for the next 2 days.
You can take a stroll through the nearby craft market with the friendly people of Malawi or a hike into the mountains if the weather is favourable. You continue a short way further along the central part of the lake. For the more adventurous, there are endless leisure and water sport activities. Alternatively, soak up the atmosphere and relax in one of the most scenic holiday destinations in Africa. The evenings are spent beside its tranquil waters.
A variety of exciting optional activities are available, including scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, fishing, canoeing and horse riding. |
