The tour begins in Cape Town before you head north for the Cederberg Mountain region - well-known as one of the main Rooibos Tea-growing areas in South Africa.

Head for Namibia and explore The Fish River Canyon, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Sossusvlei Dunes, Swakopmund, Spitzkoppe, the Himba Tribes, Etosha National Park and lastly the capital - Windhoek.

Day 1: Set Off for the Cederberg Mountains
You depart Cape Town and the magnificent Table Mountain and head north for the Cederberg Mountain region. The Cederberg is well-known as one of the main Rooibos Tea-growing areas in South Africa and is spectacularly decorated by the beautiful wildflowers in October.

On this first afternoon you go for a guided walk to see Bushman paintings and learn about the surrounding environment.

Day 2: Experience the Orange River
Travel north through Namaqualand and head for the Orange/Gariep River. The Western Cape is soon left behind and you spend most of the afternoon travelling through the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.

The night is spent on the banks of the Orange/Gariep River around the campfire, getting to know one another. The river forms the border of South Africa and Namibia.

Day 3: See the Fish River Canyon
Choose between a relaxing morning on the riverbank or the half day canoe adventure on the river.

After lunch you travel north to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest in the world. The Fish River is the longest river in Namibia at 650km in length, and the canyon is situated along the lower reaches of this seasonal river.

Day 4: Explore the Namib-Naukluft National Park
From the canyon you continue on into the remote Namibian hinterland. You arrive at camp in the afternoon and have time to go for a walk to the smaller Sesriem Canyon.

Day 5: Climb the Dunes at Sossusvlei
Taking advantage of the cooler temperatures, depart at dawn and drive into the Namib-Naukluft Park where you hike up Dune 45 to gain a different perspective of the desert.

After breakfast you will join a local expert on a guided hike into the desert.

Days 6-7: Make Your Way to Swakopmund
A dramatic drive takes you through the arid Namib-Naukluft, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, as you head towards the seaside resort town of Swakopmund on Namibia's Atlantic Coast.

You will then be briefed on the many optional activities available in the area, which include sandboarding, sky diving, scenic flights and fishing.

Day 7 is yours to spend at leisure, explore the town or enjoy one of the many adventure activities on offer.

Day 8: Journey to Spitzkoppe
You leave all the trappings of modern life behind you and drive inland to the mysterious Spitzkoppe, a sacred site of the San people.

You have the chance to climb the boulders and rock formations. Tonight you camp in the wild, under a star-filled sky.

Day 9: Get to Know the Himba People
After an early morning exploration, you head inland again and drive north towards Kamanjab. Here you will meet the Himba tribe and have the opportunity to learn more about their traditions and culture.

Days 10-11: View Wildlife in Etosha
Etosha National Park provides some of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. You will go on various game drives and spend your evenings at the waterholes for some excellent game photography.

Days 12: End Your Adventure in Windhoek
After an early morning game drive, set off towards Windhoek, the capital in the centre of the country. On the way, you'll stop at a popular craft market for some last minute shopping.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a short city tour, after which the tour will end.

Optional Activity: Join everyone for dinner at Joe's Beer House.
