These are photographs taken from our South African Explorer overland tour, on the March 2003 trip. If you were on this trip with us, you might find a really cool picture of yourself to email a friend, but watch out, you are sure to find at least one embarrassing picture of yourself too!

The South African Explorer is a 20-day tour, discovering the heritage of South Africa, be it wildlife in the Kruger Park, or the historical mining town of Pilgrim's Rest. It takes a certain kind of person to venture on our overland trips, as all our overland tours are participation trips. This implies that you help construct the campsite (where applicable, and if you don't know how to pitch a tent, we will show you!), prepare meals and muck in wherever else its necessary. We feel that this brings comradeship to our trips and helps you to socialise with other guests as well as guides, and adds a certain air of accomplishment in the end.
